Mulder has lived in Cape Town for the greatest part of his life and matriculated from DF Malan High School in 2018. As a youngster he often took apart broken electronic devices, and continued his interest into high school where he elected computer, arts and technology as his main subjects.
In his first job as an installation technician Mulder completed a network cabling management and installation course which gave him a basic understanding of electronic and IT integration.
Mulder joined Devtron as a Field Technician in 2019 and successfully completed an online computer programming course in Python and Java development and data integration. He continued to gain more experience in field repairs, maintenance and system integration of software and hardware.
In 2020 Mulder was promoted to Operations Manager where he is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business and to log and respond to all calls and inquires including software operations, documentation and quality protocols of the range of Devtron products and services. He continues to expand his knowledge and technical skills.
Mulder follows two key approaches in his work, namely neatness and accuracy. He has great respect for the skill required to be a good technician. Coming from humble beginnings of a bicycle repair mechanic during his school holidays, Mulder also holds dear the value of craftsmanship.
Mulder lives in Durbanville and enjoys going for long walks on the beach, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends.
